Description

Located at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Shrine of the Book contains and displays the most important Biblical archeological discovery to date: the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Shrine with its symbolic architecture houses Israel's greatest national treasure. All the scrolls and artifacts from Qumran on display are genuine aside from the "Great Isaiah Scroll" (in the center of the dome) which is a copy-although a piece of the original parchment scroll is usually on display.
