Description
Adjacent to the Western Wall lies an impressive archaeological park. It contains artifacts from many different periods including the First and Second Temple periods, the Byzantine and Muslim periods, the Crusader period as well as others. The most exciting finds include the walls of the city from the First Temple period, the steps leading up to the Second Temple, the original street from the same period as well as shops, ritual baths and more. The Davidson Center is a visitors center within the archaeological park, with presentations and exhibitions related to findings from the site.
