Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, also known as National Airport, Washington National, Reagan National Airport or simply Reagan, is in Arlington, Virginia, next to the border of Washington, D.C. It is the smaller of two airports operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority that serve the National Capital Region (NCR) around Washington (the larger airport being Washington Dulles International Airport about 25 miles (40 km) to the west in Virginia's Fairfax and Loudoun counties). The airport is 5 miles (8.0 km) from downtown Washington D.C. and the border is visible from the airport.
