Mount Gilboa

Description

Mount Gilboa is a beautiful ridge overlooking the Jezreel Valley to the north and the Jordan River Valley to the east. it was the scene of the tragic defeat of King Saul and the Israelites at the hands of the Philistines. The area is renowned for the irises that bloom there in the spring.
