The last live performance Elvis Presley gave was at the Market Arena in Indianapolis on June 26, 1977. Elvis would die on August 16, 1977 at his home in Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee. The original arena where he performed was demolished on July 8, 2001, and would serve for approximately 10 years after that as a parking lot, named in his honor. The land is now largely occupied by the Cummins Indianapolis Distribution Headquarters. Long live the king of Rock'n Roll. Image credit: YouTube/Peter Hunya
