The last live performance Elvis Presley gave was at the Market Arena in Indianapolis on June 26, 1977. Elvis would die on August 16, 1977 at his home in Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee.
The original arena where he performed was demolished on July 8, 2001, and would serve for approximately 10 years after that as a parking lot, named in his honor. The land is now largely occupied by the Cummins Indianapolis Distribution Headquarters.

The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum, at 5816 Clarendon Road, Brooklyn, is the oldest surviving structure in New York City.
Built by Pieter Claesen Wyckoff and dating back to 1652, the Wyckoff Farmhouse remained in the family's hands until 1901.
The structure was repurchased by the Wyckoff Family Association in 1961. The aged-building was granted protection by the newly-formed Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1965.
