Description
The Garden Tomb is a Christian holy place located a short walk outside the Damascus Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem on the Nablus Road. Several ancient remains were discovered in the garden area including a wine press and a Jewish tomb from the time of the Second Temple. Some believe that this may been the site of Golgotha or Calvary and the Tomb of Christ.
