Description
The traditional House of Caiaphas is located under the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu on the eastern slope of Mount Zion outside the Old City. Many believe it is where Peter denied Jesus three times before the cock crowed. Beside the church is an ancient, stone stairway leading down to the KIdron Valley and over to the Mount of Olives, which predates the time when Jesus was there.
