A whole lunch for just 22.90 NIS. You can’t even eat at a falafel stand this cheap anymore. And it happens to be one of my favorite meals on the run anyway. 😊 This is also the location of where I almost got lynched by a mob of angry Birthright student travelers back in my early guiding days. As the story goes, rockets were flying in from Gaza during the day while they were touring in the north and the group felt angry that they were not informed early enough by the staff. They pointed fingers and cursed and everything, and there was a moment truly (before I diffused the situation) where I thought to myself “I’m about to get lynched.”
