Description
The Pool of Bethesda is located just inside the Lions Gate of the Muslim Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem. An ancient double pool has been excavated under the remains of Byzantine and Crusader churches. It is adjacent to the Crusader Church of St. Anne. According to the Gospel of John, it was here that Jesus healed the paralytic.
